Stella Vi Acting Studio is directed by Danton Spina. Danton has been acting in theater and film since he was a young child. He received training as a child at F.G. Acting Studio in New Jersey and progressed to in-depth training with Mike Lemon and his team at Mike Lemon Casting. Mr. Spina continued his performance education under the guidance of Kyle Bass and Joseph Whelan at Syracuse University.

He has worked on nearly every type of film project from Commercials and Industrial Films to Music Videos and Big Budget Projects. With theater, he has worked on virtually every aspect of a production and gained understanding and respect for every job in the theater. In college he co-founded WhAT, an independent theater group at Syracuse University that began as a small troupe of actors and grew to be one of the largest performance groups on the campus. It is still running to this day. Following college, Spina continued his theatrical pursuits and he now operates Overlap Live, a performance group based out of Philadelphia and New York, which has thus far produced several independent plays as well as produced works in both its flagship cities and as far away as Portland, Oregon.

Spina’s passion for theater and film is insurmountable and his ability to convey his understanding to his students is what makes him the right choice for early acting instruction.
