This was the Script Outline phase. The general story has been outlined and workshopped several times with a group of writers as well as family and friends. Normally, this phase would last longer and the script would be closer to 100% complete before shooting began. Why is that not the case? Because our production team believes that the story will be strongly guided by the documentary interview material. While there is a certain list of questions to be asked, based on each interviewees answer, each conversation will certainly go a different direction and we want to see where they go. And that material will direct the story in perhaps a different direction as well.
